About Fengshui
Feng Shui Literally meaning “Wind and Water” is an ancient Chinese Science finding immense popularity lately. The essence of feng shui concerns the invisible energy flows called “Chi”- the dragon’s cosmic breath. Water and wind are the two most primary movers of energy - water helps to harness the good chi while the wind causes the accumulated good chi to scatter and disperse. The chi energy can be classified as “Sheng Chi” (Positive) and “Shar Chi” (Negative).
This life force in the environment has the power to nurture us or to destroy us. A simple test of good feng shui is when we feel comfortable, relaxed and happy in any given environment (home, office or elsewhere). Conversely if you sense fear, sadness and hopelessness you can say that the environment suffers from bad feng shui. It can manifest itself through unwanted happenings and unpleasant events.
The results can be financial losses, poor health, breakdown in relationships and many other afflictions. Aligning oneself favourably with the chi around you helps in developing a positive attitude and boosts confidence, yielding greater luck and prosperity. It enhances our “Quality of Life”. This is the practice of Feng Shui - tapping into the “Earth’s Luck”. Feng Shui is one of the tools of living. It is a living skill that gives one a competitive edge. If used well, it can definitely help you. It has become popular all over the world as it is a practice that really improves the lives and luck with little cost and effort.
There are different schools of Feng Shui - Form School, Eight Mansions, Nine Aspirations, Black Hat Feng Shui, Element Analysis, Symbolic and Flying Star.
